If you’re looking for a unique, delicious and unforgettable dining experience, come aboard the Wonders of the Seas cruise ship, offering a variety of restaurants to suit every palate. Here is our Wonder of the Seas restaurant guide to provide you with an overview of all the incredible restaurants onboard this magnificent and huge cruise ship.
From classic American favorites to Mexican-inspired dishes and Italian cuisine, there is something for everyone on Wonder of the Seas.

I was hosted on this Royal Caribbean FAM trip as a guest of She Buys Travel for an article on their site. Opinions and reviews are 100% mine and unbiased.
The Mason Jar
For those seeking something casual, yet upscale, The Mason Jar offers an elegant dining experience. This southern eatery is the coolest cruise ship offering I’ve ever seen in 54 cruises!

The starters alone (pimento cheese and fried green tomatoes) are worth the visit. A couple other intriguing bites were the Blueberry Johnnycakes (cornmeal flapjacks w/ BBQ pulled pork and slaw) and the Smoky Deviled Eggs.

Your dinner main courses range from Shrimp & Grits (this southern gal respects how well they prepared this dish), classic po’boys, Nashville hot chicken, and blackened cajun catfish, amongst others.
From succulent steaks cooked to perfection to delectable seafood dishes, there’s something for everyone at The Mason Jar.

And don’t forget dessert! The Warm Bread Pudding (buttery croissants and raisin bread) is a rich and decadent dessert that will leave you dreaming about it long after your cruise is over. The homemade cakes and twice-fried Oreos are heavenly, too!
Prices at the Mason Jar are $40 per adult and $11 for kids ages 6 to 12. Live music is included.

Chops Grille
Chops Grill is a classic steakhouse and a Royal Caribbean hallmark restaurant with a modern twist. Enjoy juicy hand-cut steaks cooked to perfection, fresh seafood entrees, gourmet salads, Lobster Bisque, and more. Don’t forget about dessert – try one of their signature milkshakes or indulgent cakes.

Chops Grill also has an extensive wine list featuring wines from around the world. The charred beef carpaccio appetizer, with arugula, Parmesan cheese, and truffle-mustard dressing is my favorite thing on the menu.

Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar
If you’re looking for something a bit formal on Wonder of the Seas, head over to Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar. Here you will find classic Italian cuisine with a modern twist.
The menu includes traditional portions of pasta, such as “Short Rib Ravioli” and “Lobster Fettuccine Alfredo,” as well as a selection of handmade pizzas made with fresh ingredients like mozzarella and basil pesto.
Don’t worry, you can also get the classics — lasagna and ravioli. The restaurant’s wine bar offers an impressive selection of reds and white wines from Italy and beyond.
Giovanni’s is the perfect spot for a romantic dinner or a celebration with friends.

Wonderland
Wonderland is a true feast for the senses. The restaurant features imaginative creations that look like they were pulled straight from Alice in Wonderland.
One of the standout menu items is the “Drink Me” potion, which is a cooling blend of champagne, mint, and cucumber.

For an unforgettable main course, try the “Terroir” rack of lamb that is beautifully presented on a bed of grass. Additionally, you can try the “Sea Bass Ceviche” or the “Mushroom Bruschetta.” Wonderland is a dining experience that is best enjoyed with an adventurous palate and an appreciation for artful presentation.
Save room for the Tweedle Dee’s and Tweedle Dum’s Banana Split topped with cotton candy and chocolate. Experience imaginative cuisine at this truly unique eatery.

Café Promenade
Good news coffee lovers! Wonder of the Seas has another amazing coffee spot for you to check out! Café Promenade has got you covered for your daily caffeine fix.
While the Starbucks nearby is definitely tempting, it’s important to note that the drinks are not included with the RC drink package. I suggest taking a few extra steps to reach Café Promenade for your morning cup of Joe and a pastry or breakfast wrap to accompany it.
Hooked Seafood
You won’t want to miss Hooked Seafood, featuring fresh seafood dishes that have been sustainably sourced. From fish tacos and Maryland crab cakes to creamy clam chowder, shucked or baked oysters, and grilled salmon, plenty of delicious options will make your taste buds dance.
Their unique “Chef’s Catch of the Day” menu showcases seasonal ingredients for an extraordinary dining experience.
FYI: Save room for the Chocolate decadence brownie, served à la mode with a generous helping of salted caramel sauce and chocolate fudge.

150 Central Park
Wine and dine with friends at 150 Central Park, where modern American cuisine is served with local flavors and global influences. The menu features everything from steak tartare to roasted chicken with truffle mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts.
150 Central Park also offers vegetarian dishes like wild mushroom risotto and butternut squash ravioli. Our Wonder of the Seas restaurant guide wouldn’t be complete without our beloved specialty dining, such as this option.

El Loco Fresh
For Mexican-inspired dishes bursting with flavor, head over to El Loco Fresh, where you can enjoy tacos (beef, chicken, and pork), burritos, quesadillas (chicken and cheese), and much more!
Don’t forget to wash it down with one of their signature margaritas or fruit juices blended right before your eyes! There are also some scrumptious desserts to finish off your meal — flan, tres leches cake, and chocolate dulce de leche.

Boardwalk Dog House
Dog House is an outdoor eatery near the ship’s pool area on Deck 11. Enjoy hot dogs, burgers, fries, salads, and shakes while soaking up some sun. It’s perfect for a quick lunch or dinner if you don’t have time to head inside for something more substantial.

Choose from all-beef hot dogs, chicken and apple sausages (that’s my choice!), old-world style pork sausages, and smoked bratwursts. Try the potato salad as a side…it’s really tasty.

Wonder of the Seas’ Main Dining Room
For those seeking something more classic, head over to the main dining room, where all-you-can-eat buffet-style meals are available any time of day or night. Offerings include fresh fruits and vegetables as well as hot entrees like prime rib roast beef or seared salmon fillet accompanied by the side dishes like mashed potatoes or roasted vegetables.
You won’t go away hungry!
Fun Fact: You can browse the huge daily menu (shown below) prior to meal time to see if this is the restaurant you want to go to.

Johnny Rockets
Popularly known as “The Ultimate 50’s Rock n Roll Restaurant”, Johnny Rockets is a classic diner-style restaurant featuring traditional American fare, such as hamburgers and milkshakes. The atmosphere is always lively with 50’s tunes playing in the background and plenty of interactive activities such as karaoke and trivia nights.

Johnny Rocket’s is a great spot for families with kids or anyone looking for some good old fashioned fun! They also make a mean classic BLT sandwich.

Playmakers
Playmakers sports bar is located inside The Arcade onboard Wonder of the Seas. It provides guests with an array of classic bar food options, such as nachos, hot wings, burgers and fries. There is even an appetizer sampler platter with a host of delightful bites, pictured below.
Whether you’re watching your favorite game or just looking for some snacks while playing some arcade games in The Arcade itself – Playmakers is definitely worth checking out!

Solarium Bistro
Located in the atrium lobby area, Solarium Bistro offers light fare perfect for enjoying al fresco on deck or inside at one of its tables overlooking stunning ocean views outside the window walls surrounding it.
Enjoy grilled sandwiches with fresh ingredients such as roasted turkey breast and cranberry chutney; veggie burgers; wraps; salads; smoothies; and more!
Windjammer Cafe
Windjammer Cafe is the ship’s main buffet restaurant on Deck 15 and offers an expansive buffet of international cuisine, including Asian, Italian, Indian, Mexican, and more! The restaurant features several cooking stations, including a stir-fry and pasta station, a carving station, and a grill station.

Never fear if you are a vegan or vegetarian, there are plenty of dishes to choose from in this masterfully curated space.

The dessert station is not to be missed, with an incredible bounty of cakes, pastries, and ice cream, while the famous chocolate fountain is pretty cool, too.
There is even a darling kid-sized buffet for them to enjoy all their favorite foods at their level.

Izumi Himachi & Sushi
For sushi lovers, Izumi Himachi & Sushi is sure to impress with its traditional Japanese dishes, including nigiri sushi, sashimi platters, tempura rolls, and miso-marinated black cod.

There are also teppanyaki tables where guests can watch as their meal is prepared right before their eyes by expert chefs—a real showstopper!

Park Cafe
For a casual bite, head to Park Cafe, the perfect place to grab a quick bite between activities or relax with friends in the cozy nook seating area. Here you will find a variety of sandwiches, wraps, and salads.
One of the most popular menu items is the Roast Beef and Brie Sandwich, which comes on a fresh baguette and is made to order. Park Cafe’s soup of the day is always a hit, and with the selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, it’s easy to create a healthy meal.

Sorrento’s Pizza
Who doesn’t love pizza? Sorrento’s is an onboard restaurant serving delicious classic Italian pizzas, pastas, sandwiches, and salads. With a casual atmosphere perfect for families, Sorrento’s will surely be a hit with everyone onboard.
And if you have any special dietary needs, they also offer vegan and gluten-free options.

Vitality Spa Cafe
Kickstart your morning in style with a refreshing protein smoothie or a steaming café latte from a hidden gem—the spa café! This cozy nook offers a range of scrumptious breakfast bites to energize your day. So drop by and savor the flavorful delights that await you.
Coastal Kitchen
If you’re looking for an intimate dining experience reminiscent of fine-dining restaurants on land then Coastal Kitchen is perfect for you.
Offering exquisite Mediterranean dishes such as grilled lamb chops and gnocchi alla bolognese, paired with breathtaking views of the ocean, this restaurant promises an unforgettable evening that will leave your taste buds wanting more.
This restaurant (as far as I know) is exclusive to Pinnacle Members and suite guests.

Great Places to Grab a Cocktail or Beer
The Lime & Coconut Bar, Cask & Clipper Pub, and the Schooner Bar were my favorite places to enjoy adult libations on Wonder of the Seas.
Lime & Coconut Bar is the perfect spot to grab a refreshing drink while lounging poolside. The bar serves old-school faves like Rum Runners, served in a coconut. There are also non-alcoholic drinks, like virgin Pina Coladas, or Strawberry Daiquiris.

Schooner Bar has incredible musicians, so check the schedule and make a plan to be there during a live performance. Cask & Clipper was a hotspot for friends meeting up throughout the whole cruise.
